Alibaba.com unveiled plans to incorporate tokenized USD and EUR payments within its new AI-powered subscription service, aiming to streamline cross-border trade. Kuo Zhang, head of Alibaba.com, confirmed the initiative during a CNBC interview, highlighting potential collaboration with banking partner JPMorgan. The MOVE aligns with accelerating AI adoption in B2B commerce—over $3 billion in annual revenue flows through Alibaba's global supplier network.

The newly launched AI Mode subscription tool analyzes supplier metrics like pricing and logistics efficiency. Priced at $20 monthly or $99 annually (tentative), it marks Alibaba's push to monetize AI-driven workflows. "We're witnessing a paradigm shift," Zhang noted, referencing rising AI search queries on the platform. While smaller than Alibaba's domestic e-commerce arm, the B2B division is expanding rapidly through tech-driven trade solutions.
